Popiah @ Restoran Mee Yoke Lim (Restoran Chow Yang), SS2

My all time favourite popiah stall. Have been eating it for the past 15 years. It is pretty famous among the PJ folks. The contents are taufoo, mengkuang, cucmber, and some fried onions that makes the popiah a little crispy. Chilli / non-chilli.

This uncle has been making popiah for the past 2 decade. Highly recommended!

Wantan Mee 雲吞麵 @ Restoran Chan Meng Kee (陈明记), SS2

Some said the best Wantan Mee shop around town - Chan Meng Kee Wantan Mee! I couldn't agree more, since I'm a hardcore Wantan Mee lover. The Wantan Mee here is said to be the best because of its fresh handmade noodle and the crispy and sweet Char Siew (BBQ Pork). The sauce is also yummy as they use "lat" (aka deep fried pork oil).

Of coz Wantan Mee is only complete with its WANTAN! (duhhhhh...) The wantan is OK~

Nonetheless, the Dumpling (水饺) is toothsome! It is mixed with minced pork and fresh prawn. MmmMMmmm, craving for 1 now!

Price:
RM5 / plate of Wantan Mee

32, Jalan SS2/66
Petaling Jaya (same row as DIGI centre in SS2)

Chicken Curry Puff @ Homi, Restoran Hock Seng Two, SS2

The famous curry puff seller around PJ - HOMI Chicken Curry Puff. U can see the amount of publicity this stall has - newspaper, food TV show (such as Ho Chiak), and even celebrity.

The chicken curry puff is always "freshly" deep-fried. Many people usually order few dozen of curry puff from this uncle.

The best thing about this curry puff is due to its "crispiness" !! Yummylicious~

Wantan Mee 云吞面 @ Restoran OK, ss2

=) back to my favourite food - Wantan Mee! *Can't live without it* Anyway, this Wantan Mee has been around PJ for the past 2 decades~ It's my all time favourite wantan mee stall ever since i was a child >.<

This family business has been doing extremely well for decades! And sometimes u can see all 3 generation in their family working there - AhGong (公), AhPa(爸), & AhZai(子)!

1 thing about QUALITY noodle is - hand-made noodles! Their noodle is hand-made, and thus always giving a special and unique texture compared to machine-made noodles. =)

Aaaa, my all time favourite is the dry, sauced wantan mee. The sauce is really yummy ~ love it to the max! It's rather different compared to many other places.

Last but not least, the wantan! The wantan is so slippery~ and it tastes great too! Give it a try, and u will definitely wana try the 2nd time!

Price: RM4/plate

The Cave Couple Cafe @ ss2

The name explains itself - this restaurant exactly resemble a real cave. a REAL CAVE arr!

This restaurant is usually packed with couples; Exceptionally packed during the weekends and special occasions (especially Valentine's Day).

Nah, told u adi lor... looks like a "gua" right! It's a pretty romantic restaurant, which gives u the utmost satisfaction!

The environment is so cosy and comfortable! Aaaaa makes u just envy our ancestors whom live in caves last time.. Haihzz...

We started off by ordering a ice blnded drink called tropic in heaven (the drink looks rather sexy huh).

This is the hot n spicy sambal seafood spaghetti~ . It's a suitable meal for people who loves spicy food! (fusion of malaysian & western food)

I somewhat thinks that this shashimi sushi spaghetti is very special. It's a little spicy as well~ Yummy yummy~ (fusion of japanese & western food)

The beef burger is rather fattening coz it's pure western food! It's really cheesy - highly recommended for ppl whom are interested in gaining weight! =)

By the way it's like crazy lots of food so it's impossible to blog everything!

Restoran Taiwan Noodle Hse (hand-made noodle) 台湾手工面 @ SS2

PPl used to tell me that ss2 is the land of milk and honey. There is plenty of yummy food over here. Hmm, see for ur self ya!

This shop has a variety of choice to choose. They haf only 1 similarity, all of them use the same, hand-made, Taiwanese Noodle.

This it the curry chicken noodle (DRY). It has curry chicken + potato + tauge topped with some spring onions. The curry is somewhat OK~ but the noodle is absolutely unbeatable! It is healthy too - preservative free!

Mixed with some soya sauce and ur ready to go~ =)

This is the SiChuan Beef noodle. I personally tot it was ok, but many customers rate it as the best. I guess personal preference ~

This is the pork chop beef soup noodle. The soup is a little similar to the SiChuan style. Bdw, u could add their home-made sambal-like sauce that would make ur meal taste a whole lot better.

This is my all time favourite at this restaurant - their pork chop! It's really crunchy n they marinate them wif such great savor~ yummylicious, PERCAYALAH AKU!
